No, I Am Not Claire Martin
This blog came into existence as a joking response to the fact that Claire Martin was so much more successful at getting her name mentioned on Dave Barry's Blog than the rest of his fan boys (including me). These days this where I stick copies of the funny, silly, crazy things that I either come across, or which are sent to me because people know I appreciate that sort of thing.

I'll delete the auto email thing for the time being until I can get around to spam-proofing the email address.
Hooray, wys, you're still among the living! Well, I knew you were but you have been keeping a low profile lately.
Word verification really does weed the spammers and can be a source of entertainment themselves. Some of my favorite WVs have been "fxyoooo" and "updyx". I am not making these up.
Yes, I'm still here, but only for a minute or so each day on a good day - I didn't get away from work until about 7:30pm last night.
Sadly, the word verification thing wouldn't work for me - the idea was people could e-mail stuff to the blog and it would be automatically posted. That's different from the comments where there is the word verification.
Nay to mind. Nobody was using it much anyway.
