No, I Am Not Claire Martin
This blog came into existence as a joking response to the fact that Claire Martin was so much more successful at getting her name mentioned on Dave Barry's Blog than the rest of his fan boys (including me). These days this where I stick copies of the funny, silly, crazy things that I either come across, or which are sent to me because people know I appreciate that sort of thing.

Um. The decorations. Yeah.
Or rather nope.
Things have been so chaotically busy I never got the time.
The other contributing factor was that for the last month I've been sitting in as manager for a bunch of people while their own boss languishes in hospital with a badly broken ankle. They suffered me putting up couple of strings of lights, a bit of tinsel, and a bauble or two, but they were rather sharp with me about limiting the normal glitzing up.
Ah well.

Thanks for the update! I've definitely missed your office decorating bonanza. :) As for my blog, I'm not posting to it anymore, but I'll see if I can figure out how to get people back in. (I haven't invited anybody in since I shut it down... right now it's just a placeholder until I figure out whether or not to delete it.)
Sad that you've been so busy. I'll hang some extra-tacky tinsel in your honor.
Then maybe I'll get around to trimming my own tree...
