No, I Am Not Claire Martin
This blog came into existence as a joking response to the fact that Claire Martin was so much more successful at getting her name mentioned on Dave Barry's Blog than the rest of his fan boys (including me). These days this where I stick copies of the funny, silly, crazy things that I either come across, or which are sent to me because people know I appreciate that sort of thing.

Love it. I will be using it with my still-not-yet-in-bed daughter in about 30 seconds.
My #2 son (12) wasn't too impressed by the word I must admit, despite me laughing my a$$ off at the time.
And BTW, I supressed the comment on the previous post because spammers will eventually learn they get nothing by posting here.
Ok, I know that's an excellent example of self delusion, but I live in hope.
But I did see your comment. Can I ask how you came across this site? It was originally set up for a cluster of people hovering around on the Dave Barry thread who knew it was here. I once had a teenager find it because she was Googling her name (no surprises for guessing what that was), but no other strangers have popped up in all the time I've been here.
Makes me gape in awe at the wonder of the internet actually. :oP
